The Sales by Day report charts how much you sold on each day of a period, with the period's total revenue and number of sales underneath. For today's figure at a glance, Today's Sales on the Dashboard is enough.

Before you begin

  • The Owner and Admin roles can see reports. The Staff role has none.
  • A role you made yourself only needs Open reports for this report; it does not need the profit permission.

See sales by day

  1. Open the list of reports.

On a computer

Click Reports in the menu on the left.

On a phone or tablet

Open Reports from Menu.

  1. Tap Sales by Day.
  2. Choose the period with the buttons at the top: Today, This week, This month or Custom. It opens on this month, and the dates it covers are shown under the buttons.
  3. Each bar in the chart is one day; the best day is green. Tap a bar to see that day's date, sales amount and number of sales. This month's Sales by Day: a bar per day, the 21 October bar tapped showing 2,130 taka from 2 sales, and a total revenue of 33,315 taka from 35 sales below
  4. Under the chart are the Total revenue and Total sales for the whole period.

With Custom, choose the From and To dates and tap Apply. To see one day last month, for example, set both dates to that day.

What counts

  • Completed sales, minus goods returned from them. Cancelled (voided) sales are left out.
  • Paid sales and sales on due both count, on the day they were made.
  • Days run midnight to midnight, Bangladesh time.
  • A day with no sales has an empty bar.
  • This is a sales report, not a money report. To see what came into and went out of each account, open Cash flow in the list of reports.

Download it

Download PDF and CSV are at the top right; on a phone only their icons show. The CSV has one row per day, with the date, the number of sales and the revenue, for exactly the period on screen.

If something goes wrong

There is no Reports in the menu. Your role does not have Open reports. Ask the owner.

A day shows less than I sold. Goods returned later come off the day of the sale, and cancelled sales are not counted. A sale after midnight counts on the next day.

The total does not quite match the Profit & Loss revenue. If you took tips with sales, this report includes them in the sales amount, while the profit and loss report leaves tips out of revenue.

What the video says

At the end of the month, a profit or a loss? Who owes you, and for how long? Tukri's reports have every answer.

Click Reports in the menu on the left. The list of all reports opens.

Profit & Loss is at the very top. Choose the period at the top: Today, This week or This month. For other dates, tap Custom. Revenue minus what the goods cost is the Gross profit, then minus the shop's expenses, the Net profit. Green for a profit, red for a loss.

Sales by Day shows each day's sales in a chart. The best day for sales is green. Tap a bar to see that day's figures. Below are the Total revenue and the number of sales.

Stock Valuation shows what your goods cost you, and what they would sell for. If you keep batches and expiry dates, there is an expiry report too.

In Receivables aging you see who owes how much, and for how long. Remind those with the oldest dues first.

There are download buttons at the top right, too. Reports are for the Owner and Admin.
